Terms and Conditions

In accordance with the UK law, on arrival we require full identification for non UK residents, e.g. a passport. For UK residents some form of formal identification e.g. driving license is required. 

Cancellation/ Amendment of booking details/ Non arrival policy:
Minimum Length of Stay:
2 nights (exception: June to August: 7 nights).

Non-Refundable Cancellation Policy:
reservation is non-refundable, non-amendable non-cancellable, non-transferrable and no refunds are issued for shortening or cancelling of any confirmed booking (June-August-minimum 7 nights stay required, to confirm a reservation we require full non-refundable payment upfront).
Advance Purchase/ Early Bird/ Special Offers: booking is non-refundable and non-amendable, no refunds are issued for shortening or cancelling of any confirmed booking (to confirm a reservation we require full non-refundable payment upfront).

Please refer to your confirmation letter where your cancellation policy is clearly stated.

Amendments
Guest checked in: Once guest is in house no amendments/ shortening of stay is allowed.
Shortening/ cancelling the stay/Resell: if successful in reselling the apartment, a credit note will be issued less 25% for management and service fee and valid for 1 year from the issuing date.
June to August: No credit notes will be issued for amendments/shortening of booking.

Payment Methods:
We can accept cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, Discover and American Express) and you may pay by Bank Transfer.

Please note that your credit/debit card MUST BE presented upon arrival or else we will request you to settle payment with other means before we can check you in.

Can I extend my reservation?
Yes, you may do so by checking with reception to establish whether there is any availability. We will always endeavour to keep you in the same apartment but this may not always be possible.

Dilapidation & Damage Deposits:
On arrival, you will be required to pay a £200.00 incidental/accidental deposit. An inventory inspection would have been completed prior to your arrival. Please read and check this information as your deposit depends on it. If you have any discrepancies please inform reception ASAP. If reception is not informed of any changes, it will be assumed that you agree with your arrival inventory checklist. Provided no lasting damage and all bills are settled, full refund will be made of your £200.00 deposit within 24 to 72 hours of departure (allowing for weekends and bank holidays) once the apartment has been checked from the original charge on check in.

Car Parking:
Charge: £24.00 per day/night. We would require £100.00 refundable deposit for car parking remote control and fob (if applicable).

Smoking:
Sanctum has a NO SMOKING POLICY according to the new UK Law that came into force on 1st July 2007. Any person found smoking in the building (including apartments) will be charged £250.00 and more (up to £5,000.00). You may face a charge for repainting the walls and cleaning upholstery if the above policy is not adhered to.

Check-in Time: 3pm
An early check-in maybe available but cannot be guaranteed unless paid for.
Early check-in fees are as follows:
To check in before 6 am – the full charge of one night’s accommodation
Between 6 am and 11 am - £100.00 inclusive of VAT
After 11 am till 3 pm – depending on our daily movements charge may be levied (subject to availability)

Early check-ins will most likely not be available from June till August.

 
Check-out Time: 11am

Late check-out may be possible depending on the occupancy of the building and the notice period you give. Late check-out fees are as follows:
From 11 am until 6 pm - £100.00 charge inclusive of VAT
After 6 pm – the full charge of one night’s accommodation at your existing rate will be charged (subject on availability)

Late check-outs will most likely not be available from June till August.


Lost Property:
If our housekeeping team find any belongings in an apartment, they will be registered in our lost property records and kept on site for a period of 7 days ONLY from your departure date. We will endeavour to contact you to inform you of missing items; however guests are responsible for their belongings. After 7 days items not claimed will be given to charity, this is due to space availability and fire risk in confined spaces.

Liability:
Sanctum International does not accept any liability for loss, theft or damage to any personal belongings, any items left behind in the apartment after check out will be given to charity or thrown away.
Sanctum International does not also accept responsibility whatsoever for damage to, or theft from, or theft of, vehicles parked in our car park.

Health Club, Gym & Swimming Pool:
Sanctum International does not accept any liability or responsability for guests using this facility. Please see reception for opening hours.

Pets:
Under no circumstances pets will be allowed to the building.

Electrical appliances:
Any guest using their own electrical appliances (hairdryers, shavers, laptops, curlers, etc) must use the appropriate adaptor. Non UK plugs used without the appropriate adaptor is a serious fire risk. All heated appliances to be switched off and stored safely when leaving the apartment.

Company Name
All payments made to Sanctum International will appear as Castle Trading Ltd on your bank statement.
